How To Update Samsung S8600 Wave 3 Firmware

- Run Samsung S8600 Downloader ( Multiloader ) and select MSM7x30
- After you extract the firmware package you have to select the files in this order:

Amss: amss.bin
Apps: apps_compressed.bin
Rsrc1: Rsrc_S8600_Open_xxxxx_Common_Oxx.rc1
Rsrc2: Rsrc2_S8600(Low).rc2
Factory FS: FactoryFs_S8600_Open_xxxxx_Common_Oxx.ffs
SHP APP: ShpApp.app
CSC: CSC_S8600_Open_xxxxx_Common_Oxx.csc
FOTA: bplib_S8600OpxxxxxCommon.fota
DSP1: dsp1.bin
PFS: PFS_S8600_Open_Europe_Common_xxxxx.pfs

- Put the phone into Download Mode ( Volume Down + Menu + Power ).
- Connect USB cable to phone and PC and install drivers.
- Click Port Search button to check good connection.
- Click Download button and wait till the phone rebooted by the program.
- After the phone fully on make Full Reset: *2767*3855#.


Important Notice: In case you want to Update or Flash the Boot files of the phone you must check Full Download option in the program and click on Boot button to select the Boot files folder.
But updating the Boot area is very risky so keep that in mind.

HTC Unlock Code Entry Instructions

The following steps apply for ALL GSM ONLY HTC phones
1- Power phone on with a non-accepted SIM card
2- Dial the unlock code at the network code request screen

How to enter unlock code for HTC Touch Pro2 (VERIZON model ONLY)
1- Power phone on with any SIM card
2- Go to Settings => All Settings
3- Under Personal Tab select Security
4- Enter unlock code prompt will appear
5- Dial unlock code
6- Go to the main Menu , select Phone Network Mode
7- Select GSM/UMTS only

How to enter unlock cdoe for HTC IMAGIO (Verizon model ONLY)
1- Power phone on with any SIM card
2- Go to Settings => All Settings
3- Under Personal Tab select Security
4- Enter unlock code prompt will appear. Make sure to switch the keyboard to numeric instead of characters
5- Dial unlock code and press OK
6- Go to the main Menu , select Phone Network Mode
7- Select GSM/UMTS only

How to enter unlock code for HTC Snap
1- Power phone on with any SIM card
2- Go to Settings => Security
3- Select Unlocking SIM
4- Dial in unlock code

How to enter unlock code for HTC Ozone (Verizon model)
1- Power phone on with SIM card
2- Go to Settings
3- Go to Phone
4- Go to Network
5- Put phone on GSM mode
6- Go to Security
7- Go to Select SIM Manager
8- Go to unlock SIM
9- Phone will prompt for a code, enter the unlock code and press OK

How to connect Samsung Android and unlock

1. enter *#7284# and select MODEM.
2. enter *#9090# and select USB, restart the phone

-now connect phone to pc, install drivers..
-select model xxxx and under port select Samsung Android USB diagnostic and click unlock.
